Frequently Asked Questions

Hiring a video production agency is a commitment. You are probably worried about hidden costs, missed deadlines, or getting stuck with a video you do not like. We believe in radical transparency. Here are the honest answers about video strategy to the questions most agencies try to avoid.

How much does a high quality video actually cost?

Pricing transparency remains a core part of our process. Specifically, every project operates on a fixed fee instead of an hourly rate. Both the scope and price are agreed upon at the very beginning. Furthermore, that single cost covers the script, voiceover, animation, and revisions. Consequently, there are never any surprise invoices for extra hours.

Why shouldn't I just use a cheap freelancer on Upwork?

A freelancer is a pair of hands; an agency is a brain. With a freelancer, you have to be the Art Director and Project Manager. With us, you get a full team handling strategy and quality control. We save you time, which is often more expensive than the video itself.

What happens if we hate the initial design style?

Our studio operates on a “No Surprises” policy. Specifically, animation never begins until Style Frames (static images of the video) are approved. These static images are then iterated upon until the look is perfect. Consequently, the final aesthetic is confirmed before a single frame moves.

Who owns the rights to the video files at the end?

You do. Upon final payment, full copyright transfers to you. You can use it on TV, web, social media, or in stadiums. We do not charge usage or renewal fees. It is your asset.

Can we get the raw project files?

Yes. We believe in open standards. We can deliver the collected After Effects and Illustrator files at the end. If your in-house designer wants to make tweaks next year, they will have everything they need.

How long does the production process take?

A typical premium production takes 6 to 8 weeks:

  • Weeks 1-2: Script/Strategy
  • Weeks 3-4: Storyboard/Design
  • Weeks 5-7: Animation

Week 8: Sound/Polish
We can go faster for rush projects, but we advise allowing time for creative thinking.

Do we have to write the script?

No. In fact, we prefer to write it. You are too close to your product and might focus on features. We are storytellers who focus on the hook. We interview you for facts, then craft the narrative. You just review and approve.

How many rounds of revisions do we get?

We offer unlimited revisions during Script and Storyboard phases to get the foundation perfect. Once we move into Animation (which is labor intensive), we typically offer 3 rounds of polished revisions. This keeps the project efficient but gives you control.

Can you work with our existing ad agency?

Yes, we play nice with others. We often act as the production partner for ad agencies. If they have the strategy and script, we step in purely to handle design and animation execution.

Do you have experience in our specific industry?

Likely, yes. We work across SaaS, Fintech, Healthcare, and Cyber. But even if your niche is specific, our process is designed to extract your expertise. We combine your subject matter knowledge with our communication skills.

What do you need from us to get started?

We keep it simple. We need:

  • Brand Guidelines (logos, fonts).
  • A 60 minute Kickoff Call.

Access to a product demo.
We handle the rest.

Can you translate the video for other countries?

Indeed, our studio acts as a full-service  localization partner. Specifically, the team manages script translation, voice casting, and text updates. Consequently, we can deliver 20 unique language versions as your project requires.

How do we pay for the project?

We typically split payment: 50% deposit to book the schedule and start work, and 50% upon final delivery. For established Enterprise clients, we can work with Net 30 or Net 60 terms through your procurement portal.

Will the video help our SEO ranking?

Yes. Google loves video. Placing a video on your landing page increases “Dwell Time” (how long people stay), a major ranking factor. We can also help with metadata to ensure it gets indexed correctly.

Can you make different versions for A/B testing?

Yes. We can animate two different intros, one focusing on saving money, one on saving time. You run both as ads, see which performs better, and double down on the winner. (See more on measuring video performance).
